Continuing its long-running homage to Ayrton Senna, TAG Heuer has unveiled two new limited-edition timepieces: the Formula 1 Chronograph x Senna 2025 models.
These new chronographs represent the latest chapter in one of watchmaking’s most significant ambassador partnerships.
Rooted in a relationship that began in 1988, this enduring collaboration blends high-speed racing heritage with precision watchmaking, while continuing to support the social impact efforts of the Instituto Ayrton Senna.
The two new creations for 2025 offer distinct celebrations of Senna’s legacy: a high-performance Automatic model and a collectible Quartz model that revives an iconic design.
The flagship piece is the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Senna 44 mm (ref. CBZ2081.FT8092), a technically refined model powered by the Automatic Calibre 16.
The design pays direct tribute to Senna’s helmet and Brazilian identity. The lightweight 44 mm case, with a thickness of 14.3 mm, is crafted from black DLC-coated titanium and features a forged carbon tachymeter bezel engraved with the iconic “S” logo.
The black sunray-brushed dial is energized with vivid yellow and green accents, notably incorporating the colours of the national flag in the 6 o’clock subdial.
New indexes inspired by Formula 1 geometry and skeletonised hands enhance readability.
This model is paired with a yellow rubber strap and features an engraving of Senna’s eyes behind his helmet on the caseback. The suggested retail price is CHF 5,550.
Complementing the Automatic is the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Senna 43 mm (ref. CAZ101AX.BA0637) Quartz edition, which directly references the classic S/EL bracelet worn by the champion during his career. This signature fluid, interlocking steel bracelet defines the style of this tribute.
Housed in a 43 mm polished and brushed stainless steel case, with a thickness of 12.4 mm, the black sunray-brushed dial shares the same yellow and green accents, referencing Senna’s Brazilian heritage.
The black aluminium tachymeter bezel features the “SENNA” name and yellow “S” logo.
This model, which runs on a robust quartz chronograph movement and is limited to 3,000 pieces, is priced at CHF 2,550.
