Breitling has introduced two new interpretations of the Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar, the highest expression of the brand’s iconic aviation chronograph.
Powered by the manufacture B19 self-winding movement, first introduced in 2025, the two new references are offered in stainless steel with a platinum bezel or in full platinum.
Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a 96-hour power reserve, Breitling’s calibre B19 uses a one-step correction system via the crown to advance all calendar indications simultaneously.
Alternatively, two discreet dimple-style pushers at 8 and 10 o’clock enable individual adjustments.
Winding is handled by a solid 18k red-gold rotor, visible through the sapphire caseback. Certified as a chronometer by COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres), this is the most advanced movement ever housed in a Navitimer.
Both models are housed in a 43 mm case equipped with a cambered sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating, for a total thickness of 14.94 mm. Water resistance is rated at 3 bar (30 metres / 100 feet).
Combined with the bidirectional notched bezel, the circular slide rule allows pilots to perform all necessary flight calculations.
The calendar indications follow a 3-6-9 layout: date at 3 o’clock, month and leap year at 6 o’clock, and day of the week at 9 o’clock. The moonphase display appears at 12 o’clock, just above the Breitling logo.
Indexes, hour and minute hands are treated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability in low-light conditions.
The 75-piece limited edition (ref. LB19211A1C1P1) in full platinum features a deep blue lacquered dial inspired by the stratosphere at high cruising altitudes.
The full platinum case is paired with a black outer slide rule and a contrasting white inner scale, creating a clear visual focus at the centre of the dial.
It is fitted with a matching navy-blue alligator strap with a folding clasp.
The second execution, in stainless steel with a platinum bezel, is defined by its anthracite dial.
It features the same high-contrast slide rule configuration and refined dial architecture and is available either on a brown alligator leather strap with a stainless steel folding buckle (ref. PB1921251B1P1) or a seven-row stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp (ref. PB1921251B1A1).
The new Breitling Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar models are priced at €49,000 / US$52,000 in full platinum, €32,000 / US$31,700 in stainless steel with an alligator leather strap or €32,500 / US$32,200 with a steel bracelet. breitling.com
