Designed by Raymond Weil as a tribute to timeless elegance, the new Toccata Heritage features a fluid oval-shaped case with a rounded bezel and short lugs, complemented by a newly designed monogrammed crown.
Its name, from the Italian “toccare” meaning “to touch,” refers to a musical composition that highlights a performer’s touch and expression.
Crafted from stainless steel and measuring 37.7 mm by 33 mm with a thickness of just 6.95 mm, the refined case frames a dial of striking purity with a sunray finish, applied baton indexes, and polished dauphine hands.
The display is protected by a sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating.
Visible through a sapphire crystal caseback that can be personalised, the hand-wound Calibre 2280 (based on the Sellita SW210-1) operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and offers a power reserve of 45 hours.
Water resistance is rated at 30 metres / 100 feet.
Raymond Weil presents the model in four variations: a dark midnight-blue dial available either with a blue calf leather strap (ref. 2280-STC-50001) or a five-link stainless steel bracelet with a double folding clasp (ref. 2280-ST-50001); an old-silver dial paired with a grey calf leather strap (ref. 2280-STC-64001); and a sunray copper dial matched with a rose gold PVD-coated case and grey calf leather strap (ref. 2280-PC5-80001).
Retail prices for the new Raymond Weil Toccata Heritage start from €1,495 / US$1,675.
