Tissot has released three new 39 mm versions of the Visodate, an elegant three-hand timepiece designed for daily wear, whose classic style and name date back to the 1950s.
Measuring 39 mm in diameter with a thickness of 10.45 mm, the case is crafted from 316L stainless steel and features a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
Water resistance is rated to 5 bar (50 metres / 165 feet).
Two versions, with deep blue (ref. T157.407.11.041.00) and black (ref. T157.407.11.051.00) dials, are paired with a stainless steel “grains of rice” bracelet equipped with a butterfly clasp with push-buttons and an interchangeable quick-release system.
The third model, featuring a silver-toned dial (ref. T157.407.16.031.00) with gold-coloured indexes, is complemented by a brown leather strap embossed with a crocodile pattern, fitted with a pin buckle and an interchangeable quick-release system.
Various strap options are available for these models.
The dials feature applied hour markers and faceted Dauphine hands with white luminescent material. The date is displayed in a small aperture at 3 o’clock.
For precise reading, the dial is completed by an outer minute track, divided into three segments per second.
The sapphire caseback reveals the Powermatic 80 movement, operating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and offering a power reserve of up to 80 hours.
The Nivachron hairspring helps protect the movement against magnetic fields.
The new Tissot Visodate 39 mm has a suggested retail price of €875 / US$950 with the stainless steel bracelet or €795 / US$850 with a leather strap. tissotwatches.com
