Hiroshi Okuda, Toyota chief who pushed forward the radical Prius hybrid car

Hiroshi Okuda, who has died aged 93, was the Toyota executive responsible for the launch of the hybrid Prius, which took the Japanese company to the top of the global league of mass car manufacturers.
