Zendaya’s colorful Dolce & Gabbana gown is often lauded as one of the most popular Met Gala looks of the past decade, and her stunning, brushed-out afro and vivid coral lip only add to the buzz. It’s one of my all-time favorite Met Gala beauty looks, for sure!

An auburn blunt bob with micro bangs was the perfect Joan of Arc–inspired complement to her Versace gown at the 2018 Met Gala—bold, powerful, and still hits to this day.

Zendaya’s cascading crimson waves at the 2019 Emmys will forever live rent-free in my mind. The rich hue contrasts beautifully with her emerald Vera Wang gown, and I love how she kept the makeup rather minimal: chocolate-toned lids and a glob of pink gloss.

At the L.A. premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the actress donned extra-long cornrows along with striking triple-winged eyeliner in metallic blue and stark white. The look was detailed and dazzling.

The queen of monochromatic makeup, Zendaya looked downright angelic at the 2023 SAG Awards, sporting petal-pink eyes with a matching glossy lip. I also adore the spiky mod lashes, which give her fresh-faced look a bit of edge.

With bronzed eyes, megawatt skin, and long, voluminous curls, the star showed up to the Dune: Part Two premiere in NYC looking like an actual goddess. Those curls remain on my beauty mood board to this day.

Zendaya went all in on “something blue” for the NYC premiere of The Drama with her Schiaparelli couture dress, Tiffany & Co drop earrings, and a halo of sapphire eye shadow. Her ultra-glassy skin also left our entire beauty team slack-jawed, and according to her makeup artist, Ernesto Casillas, Dezi Skin’s Body Gloss—colloquially known as “lip gloss for legs”—was the hero for that high-shine finish.
Of course, I must call out the bixie! I’m especially enamored with the swoopy finger waves she sported at the Rome premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Her spidery lashes (get it?) also prove she’s quite the pro at method dressing.
Athena, is that you? For the London premiere of The Odyssey, Casillas created “light, mesmerizing eyes” to echo the elegance of Zendaya’s structural Schiaparelli gown. Specifically, he used three different shades of Charlotte Tilbury’s Exagger-Eyes Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick to finesse that goddess-like inner-corner highlight: Nude Sculpt, Mink Sculpt, and Satin Diamonds.
