Valentino Garavani, the famed Italian fashion designer known for his glamorous gowns, died Monday at the age of 93. The leading designer dressed royals, first ladies and movie stars including Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Onassis. A statement from his foundation reads in part, “Valentino was not only a constant guide and inspiration for all of us, but a true source of light, creativity and vision.”
