The International Gem & Jewelry Show will return to the Pasadena Convention Center Dec. 5–7, bringing designers, wholesalers and manufacturers together under one roof for what organizers call “America’s Jewelry Marketplace.” The event, held in Hall B at 300 East Green Street offers shoppers a chance to “forget retail — shop direct” from vendors selling diamonds, beads, pearls, opals, fine jewelry, engagement rings, watches and supplies. Tickets are valid for all three days of the show. “No refunds or transfers,” organizers note. Admission is $6 online, credit card only, or $8 at the door, cash only. Military members, wholesale buyers and schools are admitted free. For schools, free admission applies to teachers, students and staff of qualifying educational programs. “Children under 9 not permitted. No photography allowed,” according to show rules. Show hours are Friday from noon to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with “no entry after 4:00 p.m.” on Sunday. Parking is available in the underground garage at 175 South Euclid Avenue about a 10‑minute walk from the Metro Gold Line’s Memorial Park and Del Mar stations. Founded in 1967 by gemologist Herbert A. Duke Sr., InterGem is celebrating its 58th year. “We have stood the test of time and have become America’s longest running and most beloved jewelry show,” organizers said. Wholesale buyers must pre-register online by Dec. 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET with a valid state business license or permit and mandatory credentials. Acceptable forms include a business card with the buyer’s name, a wholesale house permanent pass, company letterhead, a signed purchase order or invoice, or a payroll check stub bearing the store and buyer’s name.
