Enforcement Directorate officials raided locations connected to former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The searches are part of an investigation into alleged monthly payments from Cochin Minerals And Rutile Ltd to a company owned by Vijayan’s daughter. Raids occurred at his residences and his son-in-law’s home. The CPI(M) has called the action politically motivated.
