The National Weather Service released a tornado watch at 12:05 p.m. on Tuesday in effect until 6 p.m. for Autauga, Bibb, Chilton, Clay, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lowndes, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Shelby, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa and Tuscaloosa counties.
