Meta has finally announced the launch of a dedicated WhatsApp companion app on Apple Watch, over a year after one was made available for Android watches with Wear OS. In a short blog post, Meta said WhatsApp users can now use their Apple Watch to receive call notifications, read full messages, and record and send voice messages directly from their wrist without having to pull out their iPhone.
