A teal-coloured handbag made from lab-grown collagen derived from Tyrannosaurus rex fossils has been unveiled at Amsterdam’s Art Zoo Museum, and is expected to fetch over Rs 5 crore — roughly $500,000 — when it goes to auction next month. Created by VML, The Organoid Company and Lab-Grown Leather Ltd., the one-of-a-kind piece has drawn both fascination and scientific scepticism in equal measure.
